Demelza is looking for an experienced and ambitious Philanthropy Manager to help grow our income from high-net-worth individuals and secure sustainable funding for our vital hospice care services.
In this exciting role, you'll build meaningful relationships with major donors, develop a strong prospect pipeline, create compelling cases for support, and deliver outstanding stewardship that inspires long-term giving.
Working closely with the Deputy Director of Fundraising, Marketing & Communications, senior leadership and trustees, you'll play a key role in shaping and delivering our philanthropy strategy while helping achieve ambitious income targets.
We're looking for someone with:
- Significant experience in philanthropy, major donor or relationship fundraising.
- A proven track record of securing five- and six-figure gifts.
- Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
- Experience managing donor pipelines and developing new funding opportunities.
We will be interviewing on a rolling basis so the job may close before the date advertised.
