The role

The person in this role will be responsible for driving DeMellier’s global PR, influencer, affiliate, and event strategies to elevate the brand and fuel growth. They will cultivate strong relationships with media, influencers, and partners to secure impactful coverage and collaborations. Leading a high-performing team, they will ensure seamless campaign execution and data-driven results. Ultimately, they will deliver exceptional brand experiences that embody DeMellier’s luxury positioning and strengthen its global presence.

Main Responsibilities PR & MEDIA RELATIONS

  • Design and implement a global PR strategy aligned with DeMellier’s brand objectives and long-term growth.
  • Plan and execute PR campaigns to support product launches, seasonal collections, and special projects.
  • Build and maintain relationships with top-tier fashion, lifestyle, and luxury editors, journalists, and media outlets globally.
  • Proactively pitch story ideas to key media contacts to secure feature articles, interviews, and product placements.
  • Host either virtual or in-person press appointments to introduce the brand and its collections.
  • Track PR coverage, analyse campaign effectiveness, and provide recommendations to improve media performance and brand awareness.
  • Oversee the management of any in-house PR tools/software.
  • Be the lead in assessing when/if PR or celebrity agencies should be engaged.

INFLUENCER MARKETING

  • Develop and manage a global influencer marketing strategy that aligns with brand goals, targeting relevant influencers on platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
  • Identify and onboard influencers who reflect and align with DeMellier’s values.
  • Manage a larger internal team ensuring strategic goals are clearly communicated and the team work efficiently.
  • Build long-term partnerships with influencers, celebrities, and tastemakers to drive brand loyalty and exposure.
  • Execute influencer campaigns, including product seeding, gifting, and collaborations aligned with seasonal launches.
  • Use data-driven insights to track campaign performance, optimising reach, engagement, and conversions.
  • Foster strong relationships with influencers to position DeMellier as a preferred brand for exclusive projects.

AFFILIATE MARKETING

  • Develop and manage, in collaboration with Head of Digital, a strategic affiliate marketing program to expand DeMellier’s reach and drive sales.
  • Build partnerships with relevant affiliate platforms, blogs, and media outlets that align with DeMellier’s luxury positioning.
  • Collaborate with affiliate partners to create compelling offers and promotions that maintain brand integrity and attract new customers.
  • Work with our affiliates Success Manager to monitor affiliate performance, including tracking key metrics such as conversion rates, traffic, and revenue, to optimise program success.
  • Negotiate affiliate agreements, ensuring strong partnerships that drive quality traffic and increase conversions.
  • Provide regular reporting on affiliate performance and use data insights to refine strategies and boost sales outcomes.

EVENTS

  • Develop and execute a robust event strategy to elevate brand visibility and align with DeMellier’s luxury positioning.
  • Manage all event logistics, from venue selection and vendor coordination to guest list management and invitations.
  • Oversee high-quality execution of events, ensuring they reflect the luxury brand image.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including Brand, Creative & E-Commerce to ensure cohesive event messaging.
  • Track and analyse event performance, media coverage, and influencer impact.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to improve future events and activations.

What you’ll need

  • 10-20 years of experience in PR, influencer marketing, affiliate marketing, and event management, ideally within the luxury fashion or lifestyle industries.
  • Proven relationships with top-tier fashion and lifestyle media, influencers, and affiliate partners.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience, with the ability to manage and inspire teams and collaborate with external agencies.
  • Strong creative vision and the ability to develop impactful PR, influencer, affiliate, and event strategies.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute strategies that align with brand goals and drive growth.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to tell compelling brand stories.
  • Deep understanding of the luxury fashion market, trends, and influencer landscape.
  • Proficient in using tools and analytics to track performance and drive informed decision-making.
