Tasks and Qualifications

Key Responsibilities

  • To comply with Health & Safety legislation at all times
  • Ensure H&S Systems and processes are managed and adhered to
  • Accountable for planning, execution and monitoring of the maintenance plan.
  • Carry out AMHE equipment servicing in accordance with the quality standards and time schedules as set out in the equipment manuals.
  • Ensure CMMS adoption to accurately record all work undertaken and generate reports.
  • Lead and manager team of maintenance technicians & shift pattern
  • Monitor site inventory.
  • Undertake scheduled repairs in accordance with the manufacturers recommendations and industry standard practices.
  • Diagnosis of Mechanical / Electrical / Electronic / PLC / PC faults and subsequent repairs with the support of Service Technical Assistance dept.
  • To ensure quality of output at all times
  • Involvement in continuous improvement and sales opportunities
  • To represent the company in a professional manner at all times and maintain customer relations.
  • To adhere to the Quality processes and procedures as set out by the company.
  • Evaluate risks of overdue maintenance and change management/prioritization of a new maintenance plan
  • Ensure to main control of the costs to execute the maintenance program.
  • Define the lists of required tool & ppe for his/her personnel.
  • Determine the required spares for the planned and/or unplanned outages.
  • Write up periodical reports about the service activities.
  • Oversee the recruitment, training and development of all Dematic Resident Site based employees.
  • Short-, medium- and long-term capacity and capability management
  • Annual appraisal of direct reports
  • Desired Experience
  • To have a good understanding of automatic systems.
  • A working understanding of Mechanical, Electrical & Electronic technical manuals & drawings
  • Good understanding of PLC equipment
  • Working at height
  • First Aid trained
  • Previous experience of working with various conveyor systems
  • PC literacy
  • Understanding of pre-preventive maintenance (PPM) schedules
  • Previous experience in team management / leading teams preferable
  • Knowledge of applicable Health and Safety regulations
