The Regional MU Project Execution Leader is responsible for the successful execution of all Modernisation and Upgrade projects from start to finish within his/her region.
S/He will work in close collaboration with all direct and transversal functions assigned to ensure that all MU projects are feasible and remain profitable at close out.
As a member of the Service organisation, customer satisfaction is to be keep at extremely high levels, s/he must be a team player and must bring about continuous improvements so as to improve execution capability.
We Offer
Within his/her region of responsibility:
- Responsibility for the Leadership, Talent Development and Coaching of the Team of Project & Site Managers.
- Responsible for the assignment of Project & Site managers to a project given.
- Define and follow KPIs and key metrics for his/her Team
- Ensure that Team (both Project Management and Site Management) utilisation is at acceptable levels and be able to balance resources as required.
- Be accountable for all projects activities from Handover from Sales to Handover to Service.
- Execute projects on time, at a high quality and with negligible NCCs.
- Maintain or improve regional projects margin and deliver same as promised to the customer.
- Maintain good control over the cost development of the contract and give accurate predictions of over or under spending
- Ensure Safety on site on all projects by preventative actions and regular communication
- Regional projects first level of escalation
- Keep Dematic´s standards and customer satisfaction high at all times, including Lessons Learnt.
- Work in close cooperation with other departments for the smooth regional projects delivery and Team development:
- Business Solutions teams
- Global Project Engineering (GPE)
- Local Engineering Team
- Procurement
- Finance, EHS, HR
Tasks And Qualifications
- Bachelor‘s Degree required
- Engineering background desiderable
- +5 years of successful experience managing project teams in a global, fast paced engineering / technology company
- Proven negotiator
- Proven track record in delivering projects across a broad spectrum within an associated industry Experienced in contract management for technical projects, as well as strong controlling/ data know-how (commercial competence)
- Demonstrates and applies advanced knowledge of concepts, practices, and procedures for project management and expert knowledge of other areas in the company and how they interact.
- Demonstrates advanced understanding and application of management approaches for work direction and motivation
- Knowledge in intralogistics or automation industry is an asset
- Willingness to travel nationally and internationally (approx.20%). Driving license.
- Good written and spoken English and local language. Fluency in other languages is desirable.
