We are excited to be looking for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team in the UK. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and delivering conveyor technology for container and light unit load applications. From standard belt and roller systems to innovative complex machinery, you will engineer next-generation solutions tailored to each unique project. You will work cross-functionally with experts in project delivery, controls, structural engineering, compliance, manufacturing, and installation. Together, you will shape intralogistics systems that move industries forward.
What will you do in this role?
- Develop project-specific approval layouts based on customer and sales input.
- Translate complex project scopes into detailed system concepts and layouts.
- Review material flow, define special designs, and outline ergonomic workspaces.
- Conduct mechanical safety assessments and define required safeguards.
- Collaborate with CE Compliance teams on risk assessments and site safety inspections.
