About the Role:

We are looking for a (TPM) Technical Program Manager to partner with engineers, other TPMs, and senior leadership. We\’re looking for people who love innovating and demonstrate a high degree of product ownership. We’re looking for a creative person with excellent analytical abilities and an expeditious drive to deliver results. This opportunity requires deep technical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

The base compensation range for this position for candidates in the SF Bay Area is: $176,000 – $264,000. For all other locations, the base compensation range is based on the primary work location of the candidate as our ranges are location-specific. Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years of experience, and depth of experience.

What you\’ll be doing:

  • Engineering execution – drive crisp and timely prioritization based on customer impact and business opportunity.
  • Priority management – manage diverse requests and dependencies.
  • Process improvements – define, implement, and continuously improve processes that improve delivery and operational efficiency.
  • Stakeholder management – interface with and influence your stakeholders, balancing business needs vs. technical constraints and driving clarity in ambiguous situations.
  • Operational Excellence – monitor metrics and program health, anticipate and clear blockers, and manage escalations.
  • Ascertain the true requirements underlying feature requests; recommend alternative technical approaches, and lead engineering efforts to meet aggressive timelines.

What we\’re looking for:

  • 6-7 years of experience working directly with engineering teams as a TPM.
  • Experience driving roadmap strategy, definition, and capacity planning.
  • Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams, building processes, and coordinating release schedules.
  • Expert level proficiency with agile and/or other program/project management methodologies.
  • Adept at building processes, project management, and release schedules.
  • Admin level expertise with Agile/Project/Program Management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Google Suite of Products, Smartsheet, etc.
  • Expertise working on large and deeply transformative projects.
  • Proven experience of delivering large-scale cross-functional initiatives end-to-end.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including facilitation and coaching, and the ability to lead and influence others.

Nice to have skills:

  • Experience having led/been part of an Agile transformation.
  • Passion for building technology that delivers outstanding customer experiences.
