About the Role:

As Demandbase’s SDR team grows, we are looking for a Manager, Sales Development who is passionate about people and pipeline. In this role, you will build, coach, and manage a quickly scaling team of Mid-Market (companies with revenue of 25M – 1B) and Sales Development Representatives. As a member of the SDR Leadership team, you will work closely with a multitude of cross-functional partners to improve our processes and drive adoption and expansion within our prospects and customers.

The base compensation range for this position in the Austin, TX Area is: $66,000 – $100,000. For all other locations, the base compensation range is based on the primary work location of the candidate as our ranges are location specific. Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skillset, years of experience, and depth of experience.

What you\’ll be doing:

  • Hire, onboard and coach Sales Development Representatives, who are often professionals earlier in their career
  • Develop your team’s skills for outbound prospecting, qualifying, and Opportunity creation
  • Provide your team with regular coaching, feedback, and professional development
  • Closely monitor metrics and KPIs with the aim to increase productivity
  • Work closely with Sales Managers and Account Executives to ensure proper alignment on account coverage, target personas, opportunity quality and SDR to AE hand-off
  • Partnering proactively and developing strong relationships with cross-functional leads in Marketing, Sales Leadership, Enablement, Customer Success, HR, Recruiting, and Finance.
  • Articulate the business value of Demandbase, and maintain in-depth knowledge of the platform, our competitors, and industry trends

What we\’re looking for:

  • 2+ years in sales or sales development and 1+ years leading an SDR team
  • Expertise in using Salesforce.com (other sales development tools/methodologies is a plus) (Ex. Outreach, Gong, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Gsuite)
  • Proven ability to effectively hire and train new people

Other attributes required for success in this role:

  • Effective presentation and listening skills
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to build relationships and work cross-functionally
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to make data driven decisions
  • Comfortable and willing to be a hands-on contributor
  • Comfort working in fast-paced environments and ability to operate with some level of ambiguity
  • ABM/S, Web Marketing, Analytics, AdTech, and CRM experience is a plus
  • CRM reporting and data analysis experience is a plus
