Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Business Administration, Communications, Tourism or similar)
- Minimum 10 years management experience within museums, culture and arts, tourism, event management or related sectors
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Strong representation, communication, negotiation and sales skills
- Proven ability to represent the Experience and the company in front of media, press and public audiences
- Solid experience in sales-driven marketing, business development and commercial partnerships
- Demonstrated success in revenue generation through sponsorships, membership programmes, venue hire, events and strategic partnerships
- Experience in the commercial use, marketing and sales of event and venue spaces
- A clear vision for developing growth-oriented and revenue-enhancing projects
- High level of competence in planning, delivering and optimising operational processes
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the Experience’s commercial, sales and marketing strategies
- Drive revenue growth through sponsorships, partnerships, memberships, ticketing strategies and venue hire
- Design and deliver initiatives to enhance visitor and customer experience
- Lead, manage and evaluate museum staff, ensuring effective team coordination
- Oversee daily operations, budgets and efficient use of resources
- Coordinate exhibitions, events and organisational activities
- Act as the public face of the Experience, representing the company at national and international levels
- Serve as spokesperson for the company at press conferences, launches and public-facing events
- Represent the Experience in dealings with public authorities, partners, sponsors, donors and visitors
- Identify, develop and convert commercial opportunities aligned with the Experience’s mission and brand identity
- Manage the sales and marketing of event spaces within the Experience (private events, corporate functions, launches, etc.)
- Increase brand awareness, visitor numbers and overall commercial performance of the museum
