A fully remote or hybrid work opportunity, reporting to the Chief Engineering, you will work closely with our engineers and the product manager to create unique solutions from proprietary data sets to help drive sustainability and innovation in the world’s largest industry.
What does the job entail?
- Chance to work with a unique data set;
- Use the data to research, design, implement, and deploy scalable computer vision, deep learning, and image processing solutions to discover visual and associated textual relationships.
- Develop tools to assist with algorithm development, algorithm testing, and image quality evaluation and validation.
- Work closely with infrastructure engineers to make sure that your algorithms will effectively scale to large data sets and to ensure that their systems provide the flexibility needed for your ideas to become visible and real.
- Measure the impact of your changes and come up with ideas for how to maximize that impact.
- Prepare the reporting of data analysed in visual form.

What kind of experience do you need?
- Experience using frameworks such as Tensorflow, Keras, Pytorch.
- Experiences with computer vision project using image classification, object detection, image segmentation and image mask.
- Deep understanding of machine learning model hosting for inference and model optimization.
- Coding skills in Python, Java or C++.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced start-up environment.
- Bachelor's degree in statistics, machine learning, or related discipline.
- PhD or Masters in Computer Science/Electrical Engineering or related fields with a focus on Computer Vision, emerging talent welcome to apply.
- Knowledge of data mining and analytic methods such as regression, classifiers, clustering, association rules, decision trees, Bayesian network analysis.
- Proficiency with a statistical analysis package and associated scripting languages such as Python, R, Matlab, SAS.
