Our client, a leading innovator in Analytical technology, is seeking a Product Manager to oversee their benchtop analytical instruments. This role is ideal for someone with a strong technical background in physical sciences, looking to transition into a strategic and commercially focused role. You will collaborate closely with internal teams, international representatives, and customers, while also engaging in global travel to represent the company at conferences and trade shows.
The organisation is a well-established organisation specialising in the design and manufacture of high-quality automated, analytical instruments. Their instruments are widely used in academic research and specialist industries worldwide. Key Responsibilities- Product Management & Development: Oversee all aspects of the automated benchtop product line, working with engineering, production, and support teams to enhance and expand the product range.
- Project Management: Lead new product development initiatives, ensuring successful execution and integration within the existing portfolio.
- Technical Sales & Customer Engagement: Support international representatives and engage with customers ranging from technicians to senior academics.
- Training & Demonstrations: Conduct product demonstrations and deliver training sessions both internally and externally.
- Scientific Representation & Travel: Represent the company at global conferences, trade shows, and seminars, delivering technical presentations in person and online.
- Creating and Presenting Content: Utilize scientific data to create customer-facing sales and marketing materials that effectively communicate the product’s value.
Our customer is open to considering candidates from a range of backgrounds.
