Are you a hands-on Supply Chain Manager looking to step into a role where your ideas, initiative, and expertise actually make a difference? I’m working with an established, niche technology manufacturer who are looking to appoint a Supply Chain Manager to lead their Planning and Procurement teams.

The Opportunity
You’ll be responsible for driving operational performance across planning, procurement and inventory, ensuring materials and production schedules support business demand while improving efficiency and working capital. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on delivery, working closely with operations, engineering and product teams.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading Planning and Procurement teams to deliver operational and business targets
- Driving inventory optimisation and reducing excess or obsolete stock
- Overseeing Master Production Scheduling (MPS) and demand alignment
- Developing supplier strategies to improve cost, delivery and performance
- Using data and ERP insights to drive continuous improvement
- Supporting new product introductions and resolving supply challenges

- Experience leading supply chain, planning or procurement teams in manufacturing
- Strong knowledge of MPS, forecasting, inventory and working capital management
- ERP/MRP experience and a data-driven approach to decision making
