This is an exciting opportunity to bring fresh ideas and leadership to the Machine Shop.
- Lead a talented production team, driving operational excellence, safety, and efficiency through innovation, change management and lean manufacturing practices.
- Implement modern manufacturing processes and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage CNC machining and grinding operations, ensuring best practice across all production areas.
- Monitor and improve KPIs for quality, delivery, and cost.
- Support CAPEX projects, equipment upgrades, and process innovation.
Requirements:
- 5+ years’ experience managing a machine shop or precision engineering environment.
- Knowledge of CNC machining, grinding, materials, and modern manufacturing processes.
- Proven track record in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Kaizen initiatives.
- Degree, HNC, or HND in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering (or equivalent).
- Strong commitment to training, mentoring, and internal promotion.
- Support for professional development and engineering accreditation.
