I’m supporting a global manufacturer of industrial fasteners (nuts, bolts & precision components) who are looking to appoint a Project Engineer to join their operations team in Walsall. The business supplies into sectors including automotive, aerospace, oil & gas and general industry, delivering high-integrity components into demanding applications.
The Opportunity
This is a hands-on delivery role where you’ll take full ownership of customer projects — ensuring technical compliance, commercial performance and on-time delivery. You’ll act as the key link between customers and internal teams, driving projects forward while maintaining quality and safety standards.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading customer projects from order through to completion
- Acting as the main client contact throughout the project lifecycle
- Coordinating engineering, production and procurement teams
- Managing schedules, costs and scope to meet delivery targets
- Preparing quotations and supporting commercial alignment
- Driving continuous improvement and maintaining strong HSE standards
What They’re Looking For
- Experience delivering technical projects within manufacturing or industrial sectors
- Background in oil & gas, energy, aerospace or heavy industry (advantageous)
- Engineering qualification (degree or equivalent experience)
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Organised, proactive and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
