We are recruiting a Test & Installation Engineer to work on advanced, high-performance mass spectrometry systems used by leading academic, government, and industrial laboratories worldwide. This is a hands-on role where you will take newly assembled instruments and turn them into fully commissioned systems ready to support cutting-edge scientific research.
The Role
- Test and fault-find complex scientific instruments in line with documented procedures
- Produce factory and on-site test reports
- Install and commission systems at customer sites worldwide (primarily USA, EU, China)
- Deliver customer training both in the factory and on-site
- Provide technical support to service teams as required
About You
- Background in a technical discipline (e.g. physics, chemistry, electronics, engineering)
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Practical, hands-on approach with a flexible mindset
- Confident communicator, able to explain complex concepts clearly
- Comfortable with international travel and independent working
