I’m working with a specialist manufacturer of mechanical clamps and connectors for the oil & gas sector, who are looking to appoint a Senior Quality / QHSE Engineer. This role is heavily focused on product quality and supplier quality, ensuring components meet stringent industry and customer standards.

The Opportunity

You’ll take ownership of quality systems and processes, working closely with production, suppliers and customers to ensure consistent quality performance. This is a hands-on role combining quality assurance, supplier quality and continuous improvement.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Managing and improving the Quality Management System (QMS)
  • Leading internal and supplier audits, including corrective action follow-up
  • Investigating non-conformances (NCRs) and driving root cause analysis
  • Working closely with suppliers to improve quality, performance and compliance
  • Ensuring products meet customer specifications and regulatory standards
  • Overseeing inspection and dimensional control processes, including CMM

  • Strong experience in quality engineering within manufacturing
  • Proven background in supplier quality and audit management
  • Knowledge of ISO /45001 beneficial
  • Experience with NCRs, root cause analysis and corrective actions
  • Structured, detail-focused and proactive approach
