We are working with a leading manufacturer of industrial applications and systems, specialising in the design, production, and service a range of specialised equipment for warehousing, logistics parks, and industrial facilities. With a strong presence across Europe, they offer comprehensive end-to-end solutions, including consultancy, installation, and maintenance, ensuring optimal performance for their clients in the construction, retail, logistics, and distribution sectors.

As an Area Sales Manager you will be responsible for driving sales for repairs and replacements parts on existing products. You will foster relationships with new and existing customers across your region (North West England).

You will:

  • Proactively seek new business opportunities with existing and new clients, maintain customer relationships, and follow-up on quotations to maximise sales.
  • Provide technical specifications and liaise with the project team for custom requirements.
  • Use online systems for quotations, pricing, and supplier co-ordination to secure the best prices for non-standard items.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction, maintain CRM records, attend client meetings, and conduct site surveys.
  • Adhere to company policies, prepare sales forecasts, and complete necessary documentation while ensuring effective service delivery.

To succeed in this role, you’ll need:

  • Proven experience in sales within the construction or logistics industries, ideally with a focus on industrial or warehousing solutions.
  • A competitive, entrepreneurial mindset with the resilience to think creatively to achieve sales goals.
  • Strong technical aptitude to understand product applications and tailor solutions, ideally with experience as a Service Engineer (though not essential).
  • Familiarity with CRM systems to manage client interactions and sales pipelines.
