The Role - Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop mechanical components from concept through to production
  • Create detailed CAD models and manufacturing drawings
  • Ensure designs balance aesthetics, functionality and manufacturability
  • Work closely with engineers, technicians and suppliers to develop production-ready components
  • Support prototyping and iterative development using modern techniques

Skills & Experience:

  • 3+ years' experience in product design, mechanical design or precision engineering
  • Strong proficiency in 3D CAD (SolidWorks, Fusion 360 or similar)
  • Experience designing for CNC machining, fabrication, casting or composite manufacture
  • Understanding of materials, finishes and high-quality engineered products
  • Ability to work collaboratively and take ownership of design projects
