Overview
We are supporting a well-established machinery build company that are currently looking to add an Assistant Project Coordinator to the structure with a view to develop your career within this growing business. The company design and manufacture bespoke capital equipment that is supplied globally and are a dynamic business.
The Role
Reporting into the Project Manager, this is a brand-new role to the structure to help the company move forwards with their delivery process.
Day to day you will be getting involved in a variety of tasks including – assisting in coordinating the multiple customer projects that they have running at any one time (monitoring progress, project milestones, tracking tasks), collating technical manual information from the different departments and pulling it into a streamlined format, monitor and document the progress and risk in line with the project plans and generally identify and gaps and try to keep on top of everything as proactively as possible to prevent issues.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
- Entry level Project role, open to background
- Ideally have some experience from within a sector where documentation is key automotive, aerospace etc
- Ideally have some experience within a manufacturing environment
- Strong IT skills Excel, Word, Project
- Excellent communication across departments
- Ability to challenge and ask questions
- Ideally have experience compiling and updating technical manuals
- Strong attention to detail and organisation skills, along with ability to prioritise workload
- Any familiarity with ISO 9001 would be an advantage
- Logical, systematic mindset
- Fluent spoken and written English language skills
- Driving license
