The Role
As a Field Service Engineer, you'll be responsible for the installation, commissioning, maintenance and repair of sophisticated electro-mechanical and software-driven automation equipment at customer sites across the South East.
Working from home and managing your own diary, you'll become a trusted technical expert for customers, ensuring equipment performance is maximised and downtime is minimised.
This is a regional role with limited overnight stays required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, commission and maintain automated equipment at customer sites
- Diagnose and resolve electro-mechanical, electrical and software related faults
- Carry out preventative maintenance and service visits
- Provide technical support and advice to customers
- Identify opportunities for upgrades, enhancements and additional services
About You - Skills & Experiences:
- Proven experience as a Field Service Engineer, Maintenance Engineer or Service Technican
- Strong electro-mechanical fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
- Experience working with automated equipment, machinery or industrial systems
- Full UK driving licence
- Excellent customer facing and communication skills

- Conveyors, automated handling systems or warehouse automation
- PLC diagnostics and control systems
- Software-driven machinery and automation equipment
- Manufacturing, logistics or industrial automation environments
