A global precision engineering manufacturer is looking to recruit a Senior Electronics Engineer to join its growing Research & Development team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly skilled multi-disciplinary engineering team developing the next generation of advanced products.
The Role
- Working across the complete product lifecycle, you'll provide technical leadership for electronic hardware and firmware development while supporting manufacturing, testing and product improvement activities.
- This is a varied role combining electronic design, systems engineering, prototype development and hands-on problem solving.
- Design and develop electronic hardware, control systems and embedded firmware.
- Produce schematics, PCB layouts and prototype electronic assemblies.
- Support product development from concept through to manufacture and customer support.
- Work collaboratively with Mechanical, Software and Manufacturing Engineers.
- Investigate and resolve complex electronic and system-level issues.
- Carry out testing, validation and product verification.
Skills & Experience:
- HNC, HND or Degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- 5+ years' experience developing electronics for industrial or electro-mechanical products.
- Strong understanding of analogue and digital electronics.
- Experience with PCB design, embedded hardware and microcontrollers.
