We are supporting a highly respected engineering manufacturer in the recruitment of an R&D Assembly Technician (Electrical Bias) to join its growing R&D team.

The Role
Working as part of a skilled and collaborative team, you will assemble, test and calibrate complex products, supporting both prototype development and production transition. This is a varied, hands-on role with the opportunity to progress into engineering or operations-focused positions.
Key Responsibilities
- Electrical and mechanical assembly using technical drawings and schematics
- Assembly, testing and calibration of high-value, precision products
- Support prototype builds and new product introduction (NPI)
- Work closely with engineering teams to improve processes and product performance
- Run test procedures, collect data and complete technical documentation
- Maintain high standards of quality, accuracy and output
Skills & Experience
- Experience in electrical and mechanical assembly within a manufacturing environment
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics
- Experience working with R&D or Manufacturing Engineering teams
- Strong attention to detail and inspection skills
- Experience running test procedures and documenting results
