The Company
A global manufacturer of environmental and climate control testing equipment is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive sales across the UK & Ireland pharmaceutical sector. The company designs and manufactures specialist systems including isolators, flow systems and stability chambers, used by pharmaceutical and life sciences organisations to support product testing, development and regulatory compliance. This is a newly created role, offering the opportunity to develop a strong market presence and grow the company's footprint within the pharmaceutical industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within pharmaceutical and life sciences organisations
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders
- Promote environmental testing equipment including stability chambers, isolators and airflow systems
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through to negotiation and contract close
- Represent the company at customer meetings, industry events and technical discussions
Skills & Experience
- Proven B2B sales experience within pharmaceutical or life sciences sector
- Experience selling scientific equipment, laboratory or technical solutions is highly desirable
- Strong track record of developing new business and managing key accounts
- Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated and comfortable working in a field-based role
