Position Summary
The Head of Facilities will oversee management of Deluxe premises, with the primary focus being our Perivale London office. As a leader in content post-production, our premises include a range of specialised facilities alongside the corporate office. By leading a small facilities and administrative team, and managing the various vendors and relevant contracts, this role will ensure the smooth running of our operations day to day.
Role And Responsibilities
- Direct, coordinate and plan essential central services such as security, maintenance, reception, catering and cleaning.
- Drive continuous improvements in service levels, sustainability, quality and safety, and operating costs.
- Ensure key stakeholders are fully informed about operational updates and processes across our offices.
- Develop positive relationships across our locations, to understand the business requirements and anticipate any inefficiencies or quality issues.
- Plan and forecast the facility’s upcoming needs and requirements, and proactively prepare for these.
- Work with finance teams and business leadership to develop an operating plan, and provide transparent financial tracking and reporting for facilities related costs.
- Consistently review and refresh internal processes and systems to deliver the most effective and time conscious solutions to day to day facilities issues.
- Ensure Health & Safety regulations are adhered to and facilities comply with legislation.
- Oversee property maintenance.
- Manage negotiation and documentation related to external contractors and vendors.
Key Requirements
- Previous property/facilities management experience at a senior level.
- Experience of negotiating and procuring facilities management service contracts.
- Knowledge of vendor management for specialized services.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work well with a wide range of both internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with experience of managing performance of support staff.
- Capable of managing multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines.
- A relevant Health & Safety qualification is desirable.
