We are looking for a passionate, detail-driven Junior Producer to join our front-line theatrical team in London, working at the point where films are finalised, approved, and experienced exactly as audiences will see them. From talent sign-off screenings to hands-on projection booth operation, this role sits at the heart of the theatrical finishing process. This is not an account management role.
As a Junior Producer, you will be responsible for managing the final creative and technical presentation of feature films ensuring that directors, producers, studios, and talent can confidently sign off on their work in a world-class screening environment. If you love cinema, thrive in live, high-stakes moments, enjoy working directly with filmmakers and talent, and are excited by the craft of theatrical presentation, this is your opportunity to step inside the projection booth and onto the front line of film delivery.
Responsibilities
- Manage theatrical sign-off screenings: Support and run final approval screenings for studios, filmmakers, and talent, ensuring every screening meets the highest creative and technical standards.
- Be the face of the screening room: Host talent, directors, producers, and studio representatives with confidence and professionalism, creating a calm, polished, and welcoming experience.
- Run the projection booth: Operate and monitor theatrical projection systems, sound playback, and screening environments, ensuring flawless presentation and immediate response to any technical issues.
- Protect the filmmakers' intent: Ensure that picture, sound, subtitles, and overall presentation accurately reflect the creative vision approved for theatrical release.
- Coordinate front-end workflows: Work closely with post-production, mastering, QC, and operations teams to ensure correct assets are prepared, loaded, tested, and ready for screening.
- Stay sharp under pressure: Troubleshoot live issues quickly and discreetly, maintaining confidence and control during high-profile screenings.
- Maintain screening excellence: Ensure screening rooms, projection equipment, and playback systems are prepared, maintained, and operated to best-in-class standards.
- Learn the craft: Build hands-on knowledge of theatrical formats, projection standards, sound configurations, and emerging cinema technologies as part of your development into a full Front-End Producer.
Key Requirements
- The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for cinema and how films are experienced in a theatrical environment.
- Confidence working directly with filmmakers, talent, and senior studio stakeholders in live screening situations.
- A calm, professional presence especially during high-pressure, high-visibility sign-off screenings.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering flawless picture, sound, and presentation.
- A technical mindset and eagerness to learn theatrical projection systems, sound formats, and screening technologies.
- The ability to think ahead, anticipate issues, and respond quickly and discreetly when things don't go to plan.
- Clear, confident communication skills you can explain technical details in a way that reassures creatives and clients.
- A collaborative approach and willingness to work closely with post-production, mastering, QC, and operations teams.
- Comfortable working flexible hours, including evenings or weekends, to support screenings and talent availability.
- Experience in post-production, cinema operations, screening rooms, live events, or technical environments is an advantage but not essential.
