We are currently searching for a Junior Audio Editor to join us here at Deluxe, and become a crucial part of the audio transmission team.
Role and Responsibilities:- Liaise with the Studio manager, senior mixers and audio operations regarding work order priorities.
- Head up large scale conform projects covering multiple projects/distributors.
- Provide up to date information regarding conform projects at hand through regular email updates and online tracker schedule.
- Audio description dialogue editing and clean ups.
- Dialogue editing for large scale foreign version mix sessions.
- Carry out full technical QC of outbound material prior to delivery to clients.
- Create digital and/or physical client deliverables as requested.
- General file management duties creating back up databases.
- General runner duties on an ad-hoc basis, as and when required.
- Strong Avid Pro-tools knowledge and Mac user experience.
- A good understanding of post-production sound technology.
- Digital audio workstations/out board gear and microphone experience would be a bonus.
- Impeccable time keeping and the ability to work late at short notice is essential.
- This is a client facing role so good communication skills and professionalism are key.
- Accuracy and clarity in both written and verbal communication with meticulous attention to detail.
- The ability to speak a second language would be advantageous.
- Ability to work under pressure to meet tight delivery deadlines.
- Strong team player.
- Willingness to learn new technology and take up new responsibilities when necessary.
