We are currently recruiting experienced Class 1 (CE) Drivers for a temp to perm opportunity in Newton Aycliffe. This is an excellent opportunity for reliable, professional drivers looking for long-term stability on a structured 4 on / 4 off rota.
Shift Details:
- 4 on / 4 off
- Day shifts: Start times from 05:00 onwards
- Night shifts: Start times from 15:00 onwards
Salary:
- £38,000 per annum (Days)
- £40,000 per annum (Nights)
Important: Manual Handling Required. This role involves significant manual handling. Drivers will be responsible for moving and handling cages, so you must be physically fit and comfortable with regular cage work. This is a hands-on role and not purely trunking work.
Requirements:
- Minimum 12 months proven Class 1 (CE) experience
- Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph card
- No more than 6 penalty points (no major endorsements)
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Comfortable with heavy manual handling and cage deliveries
