About the Role
We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established transport and logistics company in Manchester who are looking for experienced Class 1 Container Drivers to join their team. This is a great opportunity for drivers with container experience seeking consistent, ongoing work.
The Job
- Transporting containers to and from ports and customer sites
- Working with shipping containers (20ft / 40ft)
- Ensuring safe and timely deliveries
- Completing vehicle checks and reporting any defects
- Handling relevant paperwork and adhering to all compliance regulations
What You’ll Need
- Valid Class 1 (C+E) Licence
- Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous container experience preferred
- Valid port cards (e.g. Dock/Port Card) desirable but not essential
- Good understanding of driver hours and road transport regulations
- Reliable and professional attitude
