A major utilities organisation I am working closely with on the South Coast is looking for a delivery-focused Project Manager to drive independent IT and business change projects across a dynamic portfolio.
Salary: £55,000 - £65,000
Type: Permanent, 2-3 days per week on site
Location: South East - Kent/Hampshire/Sussex/Surrey
Key Responsibilities:
- End-to-end delivery of medium-scale IT and business change initiatives
- Leadership of cross-functional teams and mentoring of colleagues
- Oversight of project governance including risk, quality, and change control
- Budget management, procurement, and coordination of third-party contracts
- Strategic stakeholder engagement across technical and business functions
- Formal reporting to senior leadership on financials, milestones, and project status
- Alignment of project interdependencies within broader programme objectives
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- Proven track record delivering large, complex infrastructure or construction projects
- Background in engineering, project management, or a related field
- Strong commercial and stakeholder management skills
- Confident communicator with a safety-first mindset
- Experience with contract negotiation and risk-based decision-making
