Overview

Location: Hybrid (2 - 3 days/week onsite in Central London)

Day Rate: £600–£700/day Outside IR35

Duration: 12 months

We are seeking an experienced Programme Manager/Senior Project Manager to lead a critical upgrade programme from Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision) to Business Central. This role sits at the heart of a strategic transformation initiative within a Private Equity firm. You will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end delivery of the upgrade programme, ensuring alignment with business goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of the NAV to Business Central upgrade programme.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure seamless migration and integration.
  • Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, and risks across multiple workstreams.
  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of the Business Central implementation.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders across Finance, Technology, and Operations.
  • Define and maintain project governance, including RAID logs, project plans, and reporting.
  • Drive stakeholder alignment and change management across impacted teams.
  • Ensure integration with related systems, including investment platforms and reporting tools.
  • Apply Agile and Waterfall methodologies as appropriate to different workstreams.

Required Experience

  • Proven track record delivering Microsoft Dynamics 365 programmes, ideally Business Central.
  • Strong understanding of finance processes and modules
  • Experience managing third-party vendors and SI relationships.
  • Hands-on project and programme management experience, including governance setup.
  • Strong background in financial services, ideally within investment management or buy-side environments.
  • Solid understanding of fund accounting, fund operations, and portfolio management systems.
  • Experience working in private equity, financial services, or complex stakeholder environments.
