We’re looking for a hands-on Cyber Security Engineer to join a growing InfoSec team during a major period of cloud and platform transformation. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys owning security end to end, working directly with engineers and senior stakeholders, rather than just writing policies.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Owning AWS cloud security across a complex environment
  • Performing security assessments on new systems, platforms and changes
  • Working closely with engineering, infrastructure and product teams to embed security by design
  • Supporting IAM / IDAM, access controls and third-party access reviews
  • Driving network segmentation and zero-trust principles
  • Managing vulnerability management (e.g. Tenable), remediation and reporting
  • Reviewing firewall changes, access requests and CAB submissions
  • Supporting system hardening, cloud asset visibility and shadow IT controls
  • Helping remediate legacy security issues while building cloud-first foundations

What we’re looking for:

  • Strong hands-on experience in AWS security / cloud security engineering
  • Background in cyber security engineering
  • Good understanding of IAM, network security, vulnerability management and cloud controls
  • Comfortable working with legacy environments and technical debt
  • Strong communicator able to explain security risk clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience working in large, complex organisations (enterprise / regulated environments)
