Head of Cloud – Infrastructure – IT Operations – AWS – Azure – Service Delivery
We are looking for an experienced Head of Cloud Infrastructure to lead a team in delivering a high-performing and modern cloud infrastructure. This role is a key part of the leadership team , reporting directly to senior management, and playing a crucial role in shaping the cloud strategy . The ideal candidate will have the opportunity to design their team , evaluate existing cloud models, and drive improvements in cloud infrastructure and service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop a cloud infrastructure team , including internal experts and external partners.
- Revisit and refine the cloud strategy , ensuring effectiveness in delivering scalable and secure cloud services.
- Oversee and optimize Microsoft 365, cloud infrastructure (primarily AWS), and network technologies .
- Ensure seamless cloud service delivery and operational excellence .
- Work closely with cybersecurity and IT teams to strengthen security and resilience.
- Manage vendor relationships and ensure efficient service delivery from third-party providers .
- Oversee budgets, invoices, and cloud service investments effectively.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Proven experience in cloud infrastructure strategy development and execution .
- Strong understanding of AWS, Microsoft 365, and modern networking technologies .
- Ability to work across capabilities and design cloud solutions tailored to the business context.
- Background in a mix of large enterprises, financial services, technology, or smaller agile environments .
- Leadership experience in a collaborative, decision-driven culture .
- Passion for creating a brilliant cloud service experience through modern infrastructure.
