The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving business growth by engaging with prospects to closure. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of sales strategies, marketing campaigns, and hunting new business. The BDM will be a professional project/customer planner and have experience in the presentation/planning for customer engagements at external and internal events. Experience in Software Partner Channel and/or Zoho CRM administration is a bonus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the marketing department to plan and execute Go-To-Market (GTM) campaigns.
  • Research businesses, individuals and industry trends to identify potential new clients and markets and ways to onboard new clients.
  • Outbound sales activity, contacting and liaising with senior decision makers at target organisations.
  • Phone-based prospecting, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Email messaging, Networking, Industry Conferences, Referrals.
  • Arranging meetings with prospects to present our company solutions and capture prospect requirements.
  • Arranging technical engagements to provide excellent customer journey experience with prospects aligned to the companies technical solutions offerings.
  • Arranging commercial engagements to onboard prospects with appropriate decision makers.
  • Taking ownership of and driving prospects through our pipeline and maintaining good customer information using CRM software.
  • Managing client relationships and building out the initial engagement throughout organisation and handover to the Customer Success Manager.
  • Continually contribute to the sales collateral and presentation materials.
  • Attending networking opportunities including conferences and industry events.
