Role Overview
We are looking for a Junior Developer to join a global team modernising architecture and building microservices for a leading financial services client. The platform processes data from multiple sources to meet regulatory and risk requirements.
What You’ll Do
- Contribute to developing and maintaining microservices and full-stack applications.
- Assist in integrating AI/ML models into production systems and building data pipelines.
- Write clean, efficient code and participate in code reviews.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to implement RESTful APIs and CI/CD practices.
- Work with global teams to deliver features and resolve issues.
- Support troubleshooting and performance improvements.
What We’re Looking For
- Solid foundation in software engineering and backend development.
- Experience with Java (latest versions preferred).
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL).
- Basic understanding of containers (Docker) and cloud platforms.
- Understanding or exposure to AI/ML concepts and frameworks.
- Knowledge of Frontend development experience with ReactJS or similar frameworks.
- Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn.
