Come and join our team. The Headteacher and Governors of our school wish to appoint a dedicated Teacher of Welsh for Key Stage 3 and 4 who is passionate about educating and developing children to become independent and confident individuals. This position starts September 2026 and is 0.8 FTE. You will bring excellent teaching skills, strong interpersonal qualities and the ability to work as part of a team to maintain the high standards we set for our pupils. You must be a good communicator to establish and maintain open channels of communication between staff, parents, guardians, and educational professionals. The successful applicant will also be enthusiastic and creative when delivering the skills‑based curriculum. The school is committed to protecting and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and expects all staff to share this commitment.

Qualifications:

  • Level 5: You will need to be able to communicate fluently in Welsh. Reasonable support can be provided on appointment to reach this level.
  • An Enhanced with Barred List Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check will be requested for this role.
