Come and join our team. Required for September 2026, a full-time, temporary, excellent classroom practitioner to teach Mathematics across the age and ability range at KS3 and KS4. The governors of the Bryngwyn and Glan-y-Môr Federation are looking to appoint a dynamic, dedicated and innovative teacher to join a committed and supportive department with a strong team ethos that consistently supports pupils at Glan-y-Môr to achieve strong progress.

The successful candidate will work collaboratively within the department to maximise the potential of all pupils, leading learners to achieve excellent outcomes in Mathematics and Numeracy. The ideal candidate will take a full and active role in the department, helping cultivate our curriculum in this exciting phase for the school. NQTs and experienced colleagues are welcome to apply.

Glan-y-Môr School is a popular, close-knit, community school for learners aged 11-16. We are committed to achieving the best for all our pupils, supporting their academic and social development. Our school works closely with the local community to ensure that pupils receive a broad and exciting curriculum for all. Situated at Glan-y-Môr, there is also an ASD specialist facility, Canolfan-y-Môr, that supports learners with Autism. This enriches our school community where everyone is valued and supported to develop.

Glan-y-Môr and Bryngwyn Schools are part of a federation that strives to develop excellent standards and opportunities for all its pupils. In this context, the successful candidate would be expected to work collaboratively and closely with colleagues across the federation, but will be based at Glan-y-Môr School.
