About the Role

We welcome applications from both experienced Domestic Assistants and individuals who are new to care home environments and are looking to develop a rewarding career within social care. Successful candidates will become part of a dedicated and supportive team committed to providing a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Carry out general cleaning duties throughout the home.
  • Undertake laundry duties, including washing, drying, ironing, and distribution of residents' clothing and linen.
  • Safely move and handle equipment where required, in line with training and policy.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in accordance with infection prevention and control procedures.
  • Comply with all Health and Safety legislation, policies, and procedures.
  • Work cooperatively as part of a multidisciplinary team to support the smooth running of the home.
  • Promote a welcoming, safe, and homely environment for residents, visitors, and colleagues.
