About the Role
We welcome applications from both experienced Domestic Assistants and individuals who are new to care home environments and are looking to develop a rewarding career within social care. Successful candidates will become part of a dedicated and supportive team committed to providing a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Carry out general cleaning duties throughout the home.
- Undertake laundry duties, including washing, drying, ironing, and distribution of residents' clothing and linen.
- Safely move and handle equipment where required, in line with training and policy.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in accordance with infection prevention and control procedures.
- Comply with all Health and Safety legislation, policies, and procedures.
- Work cooperatively as part of a multidisciplinary team to support the smooth running of the home.
- Promote a welcoming, safe, and homely environment for residents, visitors, and colleagues.
