Come and join our team. Both experienced care workers and those new to care are welcome to apply. The individuals will work as part of an established team to provide high quality care and support within a residential care setting. Being a Care Worker is a rewarding role and we are seeking individuals who are motivated, passionate, have a positive attitude and want to make a difference to the lives of the people we support.

Responsibilities:

  • Personal Care Duties
  • Moving and Handling, using equipment where required
  • Meal Preparation
  • Assistance with medication (as per the Authority’s Medication Policy)
  • Taking direction from visiting professionals (Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist, GP, District Nurse etc.)

All care staff will be expected to work towards a QCF Level 2 for registration purposes if not already achieved.

Qualifications:

  • Level 3 - You will need a good level of conversational Welsh. Reasonable support can be provided on appointment to reach this level.
