Come and join our team. Ysgol Bro Dinefwr is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Teacher of English to join our dynamic languages literacy and communication Area of Learning and Experience (AoLE). This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the continued growth and innovation of English education within a forward‑thinking school committed to the ethos of the Curriculum for Wales.
Key responsibilities:
- Play a key role in delivering high‑quality teaching that raises learner aspirations and achievement.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of an innovative curriculum, in partnership with AoLE Leaders.
- Monitor learner progress effectively and use data to identify improvement opportunities.
- Support the wider ethos and life of the school, including events, parents’ evenings and whole‑school activities.
- Undertake pastoral responsibilities as a Form Tutor, where required.
We are looking for a teacher who combines excellent classroom practice with a strong passion for English education. You will be able to support a shared vision for high‑quality learning, contribute positively to the work of the languages, literacy and communication AoLE, and play an active role in the wider life and ethos of the school. Welsh language skills are desirable, and bespoke training will be provided to support your development in line with our strategic aims should this be required.
