£25,949 (Including Real Living Wage Supplement). If part time and/or term time, the full time salary quoted (based on 37hrs) will be pro-rata'd accordingly. Hourly Rate: £13.45 (Including Real Living Wage Supplement). Contract Hours: 4 hours.
Come and join our team. Our school needs a dedicated and responsible Lunchtime Supervisor to ensure the smooth operation of daily lunchtime routines, encourage pupils to eat and try new foods, oversee student behaviour, and maintain a safe and enjoyable environment for all students during the lunch hour. The working hours are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday and term time only, ideal to fit around family commitments and other roles we offer. There is flexibility with which 4 days during the week.
We need someone who has:
- The ability to remain calm and build good relationships with adults and children based on mutual respect.
- Knowledge of basic food safety. This would be an advantage but is not essential as full training will be given.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work on their own and as part of a team.
You will also need:
- A positive attitude and the willingness to learn new skills.
- Flexibility and the willingness to assist with other catering requirements.
An Enhanced with Barred List Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check will be requested for this job. It is an offence to apply for the role if the applicant is barred from engaging in regulated activity relevant to children or adults at risk. Level 3 - You will need a good level of conversational Welsh. Reasonable support can be provided on appointment to reach this level.
