Required for September 2026, a full‑time, excellent classroom practitioner and inspiring and enthusiastic individual to lead Physical Education across the age and ability in Glan-y-Môr school. Glan-Y-Môr is a warm and inclusive school that has high expectations for learning and a commitment to professional learning for all. This is an exciting opportunity for an innovative and creative individual to lead the department, working alongside leaders across the Federation, as we continue to develop the best health and wellbeing learning experience for our students.
We are looking for a well‑qualified, inspirational and motivated leader of Physical Education who is keen to lead a department that consists of a full time teacher of girls’ PE and a range of other staff who are involved in delivering sport and health related activities. This is an outstanding opportunity for an outstanding practitioner to embrace the challenge of leading a department in maximising the progress of all our pupils. The successful candidate would be expected to bring an innovative, dynamic and ambitious approach to the department and must demonstrate:
- An ability to develop strategies for promoting effective teaching and learning
- A successful track record of teaching Physical Education
