Come and join our team. The Bryngwyn & Glan‑y‑Môr Federation is seeking to appoint a professional and well‑organised individual to the role of Federation HR & Business Support Officer. This is a key role providing effective HR and administrative support across the Federation. The postholder will coordinate HR processes, maintain accurate staff records, support recruitment and absence management, and ensure compliance with Local Authority procedures, safeguarding requirements and GDPR.
Working under the direction of the Federation Business & Operations Manager, the successful candidate will work closely with key Local Authority services, including recruitment, payroll and HR advisory teams, alongside school leaders and staff to ensure consistent and accurate application of HR processes.
The role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage a varied workload with a high degree of confidentiality and professionalism. Applicants should have relevant administrative experience, including HR‑related processes, and be confident using IT systems. The ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential. The post is based at Bryngwyn School, supporting both schools within the Federation. Occasional travel between sites will be required.

An Enhanced with Barred List Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check will be requested for this job. Level 1 – You will need a basic knowledge of Welsh. Reasonable support can be provided on appointment to reach this level.
