Responsibilities:
- Serve healthy nutritious meals to pupils whilst ensuring that the dining room area is clean and hygienic.
- Set up and clear away tables.
- Perform general cleaning duties.
- Maintain accurate records for pupils who have food allergies and special dietary requirements.
Qualifications:
- Ability to build good relationships with adults and children based on mutual respect.
- Knowledge of basic food safety (an advantage, but not essential; full training will be given).
- Good communication and people skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills.
- Flexibility and willingness to assist with other catering duties.
Additional Requirements:
- Basic conversational Welsh (Level 2). Reasonable support can be provided on appointment to reach this level.
- An Enhanced Barred List Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check will be requested for this job.
