Come and join our team. The Headteacher and Governors of our school wish to appoint a Teaching Assistant who is passionate about supporting children with Additional Learning Needs in their education and development to become independent and confident individuals.

As an ALN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class Teacher and the Teacher in Charge to support the learning and development of students, providing one-on-one assistance as well as group support.

We will expect you to:

  • Assist with lesson planning and preparation.
  • Provide support to students during lessons and activities.
  • Help to create a positive and nurturing learning environment.
  • Monitor and record student progress.
  • Provide feedback to Teachers and parents.
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Be able to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Assist pupils with personal care.
