Social Worker (Adult Safeguarding) in Carmarthen

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our dedicated Adult Safeguarding Team in Carmarthenshire Local Authority. We are looking for a passionate and motivated Social Worker who is committed to upholding the rights and well-being of adults at risk in our community. As part of our team, you’ll:

• Collaborate with partner agencies to protect adults from abuse, neglect, and harm
• Work directly with adults at risk, ensuring their voices are heard and their needs are met
• Manage safeguarding cases efficiently and effectively
• Contribute to a supportive team culture focused on continuous improvement and advocacy

You’ll bring:

• A professional social work qualification (e.g., BA, MA, or equivalent)
• Strong communication and decision-making skills
• A commitment to safeguarding, equality, and human rights
• Enthusiasm to develop professionally within a dynamic and inclusive team
