Position Summary

We are seeking to appoint a highly organised and motivated Service Co‑ordinator to support the operational delivery of Inclusion Services within the Education & Leisure Department. This key role is responsible for coordinating financial management, grant funding, and information systems across a complex service area. The postholder will oversee and support budgets and externally funded programmes in excess of £4 million, ensuring compliance with Welsh Government requirements and contributing to the effective delivery of services for vulnerable learners.

Responsibilities include coordinating operational processes, supporting recruitment activity, monitoring performance data, and ensuring robust financial and administrative systems are in place. The role requires excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a demanding environment.

Qualifications and Experience

Applicants should have experience of financial administration, data management, and working within complex organisational systems. A strong understanding of compliance and reporting requirements, particularly in relation to public sector funding, is advantageous. Level 3 - Good conversational Welsh is required; reasonable support can be provided to reach this level.

Salary and Working Hours

Hourly Rate: £20.29 – £22.21
