Come and join our team. Applications are invited for an organised and proactive Administrative Officer to join our Parking Services team. This role is essential in managing office-based functions, including resident permits, penalty charge notices, revenue from parking equipment, and related administrative tasks. The role is to ensure the smooth running of systems and processes, maintain accurate records, and provide efficient business support to help the department meet its objectives in line with council policies.
Key responsibilities include:
- Operating and maintaining IT systems for permits and notices
- Managing correspondence
- Handling public and internal enquiries
- Ensuring compliance with statutory and financial procedures
- Organising administration systems
- Assisting with complaints and representations
Strong organisational and communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team are essential. Previous administrative experience is desirable.
