Role Overview
In this casual role, the successful Casual Ecologist will undertake the same duties as an Ecologist on an as-required basis, providing cover for periods of increased workload, with no guaranteed or contracted hours. You will assist in providing ecological advice on planning and similar applications, consistent with local and national policy and legislation, and ensuring that development delivers Net Benefit for Biodiversity. You will be based in the Natural Environment and Sustainability Team, covering nature recovery, ecology, energy, landscape, trees, woodlands, and common land, positioning you well to develop your career in this field.
Qualifications
Level 3 - You will need a good level of conversational Welsh. Reasonable support can be provided upon appointment to reach this level.
