Come and join our team! If you are passionate about cooking and have a good work ethic, we would love to hear from you because our self‑motivated and dedicated team requires a Catering Assistant. Working for us, you will have the opportunity to work in a busy and exciting environment. You will be responsible for assisting our Cook in preparing nutritious and appetising meals whilst ensuring compliance with all aspects of Food Hygiene and Health and Safety. Other duties will include setting up and clearing away tables and general cleaning duties. This post is for 15 hours per week / 3 hours per day. Working hours are Monday to Friday, term time only (38 weeks), ideal to fit around family commitments and other roles we offer. We offer an ‘annualised’ pay scheme so that our staff who work term time receive pay over 52 weeks.

- The ability to build good relationships with adults and children based on mutual respect.
- Knowledge of basic food safety. This would be an advantage, but not essential as full training will be given.

- A positive attitude and the willingness to learn new skills.
- Flexibility and the willingness to assist with other catering duties.
An Enhanced with Barred List Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check will be requested for this job.
