Responsibilities
We are looking for a fun, caring breakfast assistant to join our Breakfast Club. They will be responsible for ensuring that the food preparation area is clean prior to preparing and serving a nutritious breakfast. Other duties include general kitchen and dining room duties such as setting up and clearing tables and general cleaning duties. The position is also term‑time, ideal to fit around family commitments and the school day. We offer an ‘annualised’ pay scheme so our staff who work term time receive pay over 52 weeks.
Qualifications
- The ability to build good relationships with adults and children based on mutual respect.
- Knowledge of basic Food Safety and Health and Safety. This would be an advantage but is not essential as full training will be provided.
- Good communication and people skills.
- The ability to work on their own and as part of a team.
- A positive attitude and the willingness to learn new skills.
