Role Overview

Our Streetworks Inspector Apprenticeship is part of the Amdani Apprenticeship Programme and offers the opportunity to work both in office and on site, supporting roadworks planning, coordination, and safety.

Key responsibilities:

  • Assist in planning and coordinating streetworks.
  • Ensure roadworks are kept safe and compliant.
  • Support the delivery of services to businesses and residents.
  • Perform site supervision and compliance checks.

Qualifications & attributes:

  • Organised, trustworthy, diligent, with good attention to detail.
  • Problem‑solving skills, honesty, reliability, and the ability to recognise when to seek support.
  • People‑oriented – able to build working relationships and trust quickly.
  • Ability to use and improve Welsh language daily through conversations with stakeholders and the team.
  • Willingness to learn and develop knowledge of the services provided to the community.
  • Enjoy being busy and interacting with others daily.

Welsh language requirement: Level 3 – you will need a good level of conversational Welsh. Reasonable support can be provided on appointment to reach this level.
